Spine / warnings - captive balloon and kites
« on: 11-Oct-2008, 09:07:42 »
Could it be arranged so that one could auto-delete Warnings - captive balloons and kites?
I dont want to fly into these hazards, but I am prepared to rely on my lookout to see and avoid.

TpSelect / import bga 2007 into seeyou

good to see the bga 2007 waypoints in Spine and TPselect.

unfortunately when I look at the waypoints in Seeyou, all the eastings are set to zero. Other fields seem fine.

TPselect v2.1
SeeYou v3.62
running on new Windows Vista machine
(I would not be surprised if vista is the culprit)
will check on my win98 machine when I can get it to boot for long enough!

Spine / red arrows

Downloaded NOTAMs last night. 8/9/06 and noticed red arrows at Brough on 10/9/06 (also at Leuchars).
Re-downloaded NOTAMs today 9/9/06 and Spine did not display the red arrows any more.
Looked at NATS pib3.shtml and red arrows in there.

Check output from both spine files - no changes to any settings - details from red arrows only on file from 8/9/06.

There when I press "All" rather than "included only" on 9/9/06 data.

Will check further.
Must go fly.

TpSelect / Import from SeeYou

Delighted to see the new import waypoint function.
Saves me appending a file of personal waypoints in TP Select format.

Now sorting out my Euroglide waypoint file for import into LX5000, currently in SeeYou. Delighted that TP Select gives me the tool to acheive this.

Importing waypoints from SeeYou (v3.4) into TP Select (v1.92).

TP Select treats the SeeYou elevation in meters as an elevation in feet.
Does not matter what units are used in SeeYou for display.

Any chance of correcting this?

ps: the correct elevation is shown in Seeyou on export from TP Select.

Also getting some "unrecognised format" errors on import from SeeYou into TP Select. I think this is mainly due to problems with the handling of the SeeYou "Code" field but not sure yet.

Best wishes

Rory
