I'm Jeff, the site owner. Up until the end of 2006, I was a member of Shalbourne Soaring Society, the gliding club based at Rivar Hill in Wiltshire. I have now retired from gliding, but still maintain an interest and keep the software up to date.

Please take a moment to introduce yourself in this forum - at least I'll know then that someone is reading it!

I read it. Now you know :-).

Is this the Jeff Goodenough from Digital days? Vaxen and VMS ad stuff?
Cheers old pal!

fwiw... finally decided to leave Digital/Compaq/HP in Oct 2005.
Trying my luck at Software Performance consulting (OpenVMS, RMS, Unix, Oracle, Linux, MySQL,...)

I'm unlikely to come by here again, so if you want to react, be sure to also send an email to gmail for user: heinvandenheuvel

Regards,
Hein.

Goodness, names I recognize ! I too am an ex deccie, though in VAX (and Alpha) hardware support.
Now effectively retired from commercial computing and back into gliding after 43 years since my Air Cadet solo's in what we now know as a T31.
Better late than never...
