Linking of map display to main display
« on: 18-Mar-2007, 22:44:55 »
I have started looking at your software for use in route planning for the flyouts I organise. We are a microlight club based near Lancaster. The software is good and should provide what I need.

I would like to ask for a slight mod to the software.

Whilst on the map display, hovering over the Notam gives a brief bit of info. Could it be possible for the program to change the display in the main screen to that of the selected Notam ? I notice that the display is another program instance rather than another window to the first instance, so perhaps they would need to talk to each other.

Keep up the good work

Peter

Thanks for the suggestion. The windows are not actually separate program instances, but the plot window does communicate with the main window using messages (for example when dates are changed). The mechanism is there, so this could probably be done without too much trouble. I will look into it.

Thanks for considering the suggestion, and I look forward to seeing what you can achieve.

This feature has been implemented in V4.4. Posting this here in case you are by chance monitoring this topic...
