V5.4: some things not plotting (Win98)

Hi Jeff, not sure if I am missing something but I just updated to V5.4, and it no longer has the coastline or graticule or Notam circles, no matter if they are ticked or not.    It did in the previous version, and printed out a decent copy.
( I still use Windows 98 here, so hope that is still compatable.)

I can't see any differences between 5.3 and 5.4 that would affect what's plotted. Please could you download V5.4 from the download page, go into Add/Remove Programs (or whatever the equivalent in Win98 is), uninstall your current version of Spine and do a fresh install from the new download. (You'll need to go through the quick set up again, I'm afraid.)

If it still doesn't work, I can let you have a copy of the old 5.3 until I puzzle out what's happening. Windows 7 is coming out shortly, so you could upgrade and skip XP and Vista entirely

Hi Jeff, I have tried several ways to get 5.4 installed, but yet still no coastline or other graphics.
I have version 5.1 on floppy disk, and as long as I remove all 5.4 files from the Programs folder and from the enbourne registry, 5.1 runs Ok.   I will stick with that for now, as the plot prints out very well.

( We seem to be having an air display at Conway today, but no mention on the Red Arrows or Battle of Britain Memorial flight internet sites....)

If you want, V5.3 is still available to download here. I really don't understand what's changed in V5.4 that could affect you.

If you have time and wouldn't mind re-installing V5.4 temporarily, and seeing as you know your way round the registry editor, it would help me if you could export HKCU/Software/Enborne/Spine and HKLM/Software/Enborne/Spine, also a list of files in your install folder.

I don't know if it's a Win98 thing, but it seems odd that you are seeing some stuff plotted, but not coastline, graticule or Notams. If you don't have time, I'll still take a look around to see if I can see anything.

Thinks: I know someone else who has Win98 (or did have) and runs Spine. I'll contact him to see if he's having problems.
